Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
1. The service
Lexroute is an online intake tool that helps people considering a personal-injury claim reach independently licensed attorneys. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. Nothing on this site should be treated as legal advice.
2. No attorney-client relationship
Submitting an intake, using the case page, or communicating with an attorney through Lexroute does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not establish attorney-client privilege. A relationship is formed only if you and an attorney sign a written retainer agreement directly with each other.
3. Attorney advertising
Portions of this website constitute attorney advertising under the rules of various state bars. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Any testimonials or case examples are illustrative and are not a promise of any particular result in your case.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide information about your incident that is truthful and reasonably complete.
- Do not submit intakes on behalf of another person without their consent.
- Do not use the service to harass attorneys, submit fake or duplicate cases, or abuse the routing system.
- Be aware that statutes of limitations apply to injury claims; delay may bar your claim regardless of merit. If your matter is time-sensitive, contact an attorney directly.
5. Attorneys on the network
Attorneys on Lexroute are independently licensed and solely responsible for the legal services they provide. We do not supervise, direct, or control their legal work, fees, or communications. Any fee agreement is between you and the attorney.
6. Fees
Use of the intake and case page is free to claimants. Attorneys may pay to receive routed cases. We do not take a percentage of any recovery in a matter you retain a Lexroute-network attorney to handle.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any attorney will accept your case, that any particular attorney will contact you within any time frame, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexroute is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the service, including missed deadlines, unaccepted cases, or the acts or omissions of any attorney. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts sitting in Cook County, Illinois.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
